I think the issue here is not whether there are enough 'new men' in the population. The issue is whether the law will even ALLOW for men to be involved with their children. The law today effectively prevents men from having very involved lives. Uninvolved fathers will continue to be uninvolved regardless of the laws...with a law change the fathers who are devoted 'hens' can actually contribute to the emotional well-being and not just the financial. The law must be changed to permit fathers to be fathers and not marginalize them during the most critical years of a child's life.
