they didn't trust the American and Israeli govt. which they thought was supporting Kurdistan. However, now that Turkey and the Kurds are reconciling, there is hope that Turkey no longer has to be afraid of the Kurds, USA and Israel. Turkey's reconciliation with the Kurds is being done with reconciliation with Armenia; both related in ways. The Kurdish problem should not be in the way. Gaza, however, and the Palestinians needs mediators; I think Turkey is o.k. Eventually, who knows, that will be reconciled also.
