    You're making a miscalculation thinking that because Turkey manages the flow of Natural Gas, Water and other elements, that this translates into "strategic" in a military standpoint. If you think the U.S. is going to favor Turkey over Israel any time this next century because of Natural Gas and Water you need to see a doctor. The Military Technology and Intelligence sharing alone between Israel and the U.S. is completely untouchable, it surpasses any American president in office at any given time. You need to go see what Turkey's "strategic" value was when they were dismantled in WWI still going under the name of Ottoman Empire when they were trying to conquer everything and everyone. Their loyalty and responsibility to the world has yet to be fully earned.
