Erdogan is called an islamist? what is that term's meaning? Let us not fall into stereotypes and disrespect. What differs you from antisemites if you call a conservative successful prime minister an islamist? Erdogan always supported Israel and the Israelis and has no interest while making efforts to reconcile Israel with Syria at the time before Olmert betrayed his trust. Later came the arrogance of Bibi and the murder, atrocities committed on mavi Marmara to humanitarians. Let us not be blind. Turkey is Israel's Best friend and Only ally since 1948. The Turks embraced the Israelis and still do. They never betrayed Israel , the same is not true for Israel. A gigantic effort by the Israeli people is needed to show genuine regret to the Turkish people. We all know in Turkey that this is a US forced move to reconcile two heartbroken brothers in the region who do not want to speak to each other again. Try putting yourself in the shoes of the Turks who were treated as traitors for being supportive of Israelis by the Arabs for all these years. Today for the Turks, Arabs and Israelis are the same - not to be trusted, can turn against you at any time.
