This morning's Israel Radio reported that Passover holiday reservations to Turkish hotels, popular here for years, are down 58% over last year. Israeli tourism is a bigsource of foreign currency for Turkey. This has nothing to do with the world economic crisis. Instead, Israelis are making reservations at Israeli hotels and resorts, which are much more expensive than Turkey.
