CT try to find democratic countries with majority Muslim population. I'll give you a hint; both are in Europe, and both are secular. I guess both are more democratic than Israel. Whenever favorable relations hinge on dictators remaining in power those relations have an expiration date. Now, on the other hand, when you forge close ties with the people of that country, there is no best before date, because no matter who comes to power people will demand he retains warm relations. Israel should have learned after Shah fiasco, but those who don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them. Repeat them you do.
