...why do we only hear such militant rhetoric about quelling Hareidi violence in Israel, or perceived violations of the law by settlers? What about the lawlessness and violence in Israeli-Arab towns, villages and neighbourhoods like Silwan, Um El Fahem and the illegal Bedouin settlements? What about leftist violence and provocation in East Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria? Why is it that when the security services act against violent Arab riots or leftist provocations and violence - or indeed espionage - Ha'aretz becomes a hub of condemnation and liberalism? Enough with the typically liberal double-standards already.
