All interior security ministers and chiefs of the fire department during the last decade should stand on trial for murder by negligence. Funds for purchasing hundreds of fighter jets are found easily, billions of shekels are spent on roads to nowhere in the territories, numerous non-productive orthdox yeshivas, and on an immigration police hunting down children. But funds for just one fire fighting plane was nowehere to be found. The twisted priorities of Israel's government, ministers and puppets at the top of the fire department must be exposed to the full. Someone needs to pay the price- not for pointing fingers and allocating guilt, but for letting those that will follow them know that they will be held accountable if they don't do their jobs and don't take care of their people and environment.
