I cant imagine the IAF would think so little of their greatest assets (I mean the pilots not the hardware), that they would place them any further in harms way than their missions already put them in. This is what any force must expect when they train their people to effective combat readiness. I know from the australian SAS history that we have lost far more in training than we have or ever will loose in battle. And I am sure that our boys in the IAF are trained to a razors edge. I wish them both a safe return to their squadron and families.
