Oe has to consider both legal and moral claims in considering the so-called illegal outposts. Mopst of them are illegal only in the sense that they never were approved. But no crime was committed in creating them. It makes no sense to allow Palestinians to build on disputed territories, while preventing Jews from doing so, and yet this is the situation today. Jews have been very careful in not dispossing Palestinians when they build settlements, but they do need the right to land, and not to be entrapped in a ghetto.
