The Haredim are not a threat to the State of Israel, and they are hardly anything like Iran. They haven' forced anyone in Jerusalem who wants to eat treif, to any other infraction of halacha, or anywhere else in Israel. That ties are chnaging and there are trends in national life that affect them, as well as the non-Halachic observant secotr of the nation is to be expected. If we reach the situation that existed in iner-war Poland where most jews were more or less halachially Observant, and the level of Jeiwish scholarship was farily high. Perhaps the only thing that I could paay for is that the diviselmness we read in the talkbalks become a tolerance between those who Observe more and those hwo Observe less.
