very unpleasant chaos in the region. In the early 1960's my father went with a group of Histadrut people invited to Sde Boker for a few days to meet with then retired PM Ben Gurion to hear him speak, etc. When suddenly, his wife Paula, comes outside to this group of visitors who he is speaking to and yells something critical of PM Ben Gurion, (maybe that it was raining and why was he wearing sandals or either an opinion on an issue, not clear what it was). Impatiently PM Ben Gurion responds , " T'chi besheket Paula, ze lo enyanch! " trans. "Be quiet, Paula, this matter doesn't concern you". It's interesting how we humans remember the emotional trivial moments". And certainly not a response of a Western leader in front of guests. Just thought you'd be interested to hear this story.
