As far as the Pal Christians, they feel like a persecuted minority, according to all the Galilee Christians I have spoken to. Not to mention Bethlehem. Ask the people of Rame about their demographic trends in the past decades. Re: Syria, Assad's govt. doesn't even recognize the legitimacy of Lebanon, upon which he still has designs. He cares little for international law, and shouild not benefit from it. Until there is a real democratic govt. in Syria, giving them the Golan doesn't guarantee peace, just a better place from which they can attack when their dictator, or his bosses in Iran, so decide.
