Torah Laws are dynamic. They, like any other constitution or statutory law is designed to be interpreted with the benefit of time and hindsight. This is a system of case law. The Rabbis understood this over 2000 years ago and called it the Talmud (Mishnah and Gemarah). The problem lies in the small minds of the "rabbis" of today.
