That old story from #2 is just not true. If you mean that they wanted to give preference for Raanana ratepayers who funded the park, or wanted to keep the Mangal crowd out - who set fires up on the green areas of the park and cover the park in smoke - then THAT is the reason. There simply aren't enough green parks in the Sharon area, and this beatiful park attracts from all the neighbouring towns. Maybe when Kfar Saba, Hod Hasharon and Ramat Hasharon finish their parks it may take some pressure off Raanana.
