Separation of state and religion has zero chance then even if Jews accept it what about of the others who have the imprescindible right not to be ruled by a religion they do not abide with. The "Jewish" state is also the state of all its citizens and even of those who are occupied even illegally. "Normalcy" is essential in terms of respect of human rights even of non-Jews.
