Too bad Haaretz is reluctant to allow readers to post information which would prove it is very unlikely that the person was killed by tear gas alone. Tear gas, in particular CS, can be lethal. The USA ran tests to determine lethal doses as administered to various animals and the necessary dosages for monkeys are considered indicative of the density per cubic meter and for how long is necessary to kill humans. This information was used to determine applications of CS to VC tunnels during Vietnam. In an open air setting, using thermal grenades, it is extremely unlikely that the protester was killed by a deliberately or even accidentally administered quantity of tear gas. Attempts to post figures which would show just how unlikely the death was have been rejected. Perhaps a less detailed assertion will pass muster.
