This is neither about double standards nor legality. There is no "basic right" of a country (any country) to go nuclear. If Iran wants to exercise basic rights, it should start with freedom of speech, assembly, religion, equality of rights for women and homosexuals (oh, I forgot, ther aren't any in Iran). In the absence of a right to go nuclear, the question is not "are they entitled or not", but "can we live with it or not". The Arabs sleep well with the Israeli, US, Russian, Chinese, Indian, Pakistani bomb. None of those country threatened at anytime to eridacte another. Neither the Arabs, Israel, US, and EU are willing to sleep with an Iranian nuclear bomb. Just continue to follow the news.
