In the early years of the 7th century, this 200 dunums in the heart of Jerusalem started as a cemetery for Christian Jerusalemites slaughtered by the Persian invaders just before the rise of Islam, who were allied with the remaining Jews and Samaritans of this land . Tens of Thousands of the Jerusalemite Christians are burried there. Tens of thousands of Muslims who were slaughtered by the Crusades are also burried there when the Moslems used this Christian Cemetery to burry their dead. Now, a Jewish organization wants to build a Museam of Tolerance over these dead bodies. I wish we had a list of the names of the dead to be shown over the entrance, and an apology to the Human race for what humans do to each others in the name of religion and the name of tolerance.
