I agree with Todd, # 4. This article was hard to comprehend. There are some interesting points here, though: the characteristic insularity of the secularist-Leftist "peace camp" supporters, their disdain for Jewish values and traditions and their general disconnection from the real world in pursuit of ideals that conveniently ignore harsh realities. The most bigoted election slogan I ever heard was Ehud Barak's slogan: "We here, them there". However, seeing as it was the LEFT that promoted this 'apartness', it was seen as not only acceptable, but even 'enlightened'. Meron and her approach to chocolate and Arabs are the same. As for listening to the old and unwise, don't forget that Shimon Peres is about the same age - and those who listened to him got burned real bad (or worse!).
