Ze'ev you are wrong, the soldiers in Gush Katif, as well as the civilians living there are protecting YOU in Gadera. Far more people have been killed in the Oslo war within pre-67 Israel than there. The Gaza Strip is full of refugees who fled after attacking your home and then being defeated in Gadera in 1948 and they will continue fighting to return to there, as ABU MAZEN (the so-called "Moderate") promises them, unless Israel stands firm and protects all Jewish communities in Judea/Samaria/Gaza where Jews have lived CONTINUOUSLY for thousands of years. Destruction of Gush Katif will INTENSIFY the terror as Hamas has promised. And don't forget - the majority of people in Israel oppose the destruction of Gush Katif-this is proven by Sharon's refusal to conduct a referendum or call new elections.
