"Today, standing on principles is a luxury, and having a worldview is reserved for bleeding-heart liberals. " (Yossi's conclusion) No. The worldview of liberals is similar to that of all other "world viewers" - the religious, the settlers, the rightists, the extremists, the socialists, and what have you - with their narrow angle of "moral" views. Single minded views are the perfect motor for dreaming up conflicts with other single minded views...and vice versa! There is no "good" "bad"; everyone thinks he(she) is good. The only good! Anat Kam too... also Madame Tirosh...and all contribute to the balagan within the balagan.....Now, a wide angle view is another thing entirely. It is the mother of tolerance; it is understanding. It has no name...it doesn't need one... And of course...it doesn't need to spy.
