Uranu, Part of being a Jew is a collective conscious. We are tied between the current and past generations in this regard. Those before us and those today who are persecuted are part of our collective being. We must feel their pain and remember, as if it happened to us,even in our suburban lives. We will celebrate Passover in a few days. Central to Passover is that on that night, we must tell the story and relive the Exodus as if we were there. It is part of being Jewish, just as Japanese, the Irish and others feel their heritage and revel and cry at our respective human experience across the space time continuum.
