To understand a headline that seems irrelevant (“China offers to host Netanyahu and Abbas at Beijing meeting”), you must understand the diplomatic language, context and juncture. The Chineses know that Israel will not sit to talk with the Palestinians in China. The invitation is a way to demonstrate the intransigence of Israel and, by consequence, is a pressure on Israel. This same pressure is present in the affirmation that “The stagnation of peace talks affects not only the stability and development of the Middle East but also the peace and stability of the world,”. It's a perfect rating from reality, but, more important than being a perfect rating, is a way to show that Israeli intransigence endangers the stability of the region and the world. This turns the question Palestinian and Iranian question. If Israel wants to discuss Iran with China, should take into account what China thinks about the issue. This means, in advance, that China will not engage in the Iranian question, according to the interests of Israel, without Israel takes into account the evaluation about the Chinese problem. Israel wants to deal with issues such as Palestinian and Iranian issues if they were isolated, when it is obvious that are not. What China (and not just China) is saying is that the problem solved Palestinian Islamic radicalism loses oxygen, but the intransigence of Israel feeds the fire that Israel wants to erase. And the most interesting in terms of juncture, it is that this is done at the time Kerry takes the offensive (to the point of running to the USA Livni, in an attempt to extinguish the fire), with the support of the Arab League, showing a increasing isolation of Israel.
