While I do not agree with your broader point about talking to Hamas, I do believe you are correct in your assessment of Hams' upcoming reaction to any deal. But I fail to see the problem there. The truth is Israel needs to call the bluff. There is no sense talking to those who only pretend to be in charge, even if we like what they have to say. There is no sense talking to those in charge particularly since they cannot acknowledge our right to exist. Call the Palestinian bluff and reveal to the world that there is no partner in peace, just a pretender who cant deliver, and a war monger who wont compromise. THats no choice. Its time the world learned that.
