Dear Mr.Segev, I read "One Palestine Complete". This is one of the best historical books I've ever read. You described two societies of live people, who, as live human beings, made mistakes. But I think it is obvious from your book: the Arabs indeed missed the opportunity to have their state in 1938. You say, Israel was wrong not talking with the PLO in the 70s. But what's the point of talking with those who don't recognize your right to exist? And, based on Oslo experience, those, who don't keep their word? And why talking with Hamas? They are heirs of al-Husseini, who rejected Peel commission proposals. They wage terror war against innocent people and this constituites crime against humanity.Jews had been waiting for two millenia for return to their land, why can't we wait another 25 years? So far, waiting and hope proved fruitful, and talks didn't bring any result. And why can't we act unilaterally: our state was created unilaterally and all its achievements were unilateral.
