    Tom, I agree with you that his wording is not the best. It is well-known that Hamas, indeed most Moslems, consider Israel to be on Arab land. But aren't you aware that most religious and nationalist Jews still consider the West Bank (aka Judea and Samaria) and maybe even the Kingdom of Jordan to be truly Jewish land? They were willing to compromise and accept a non-Jewish entity on "their" territory. Maybe this is a hint of a similar acknowledement and compromise on the part of the Arabs and Moslems. Let's see where this can lead instead of rejecting it out of hand.
