To those who prayed every Friday for two consecutive years for the protection of this valuable land of Cremisan, I am sorry that your prayers were not answered. I had the privilege to stand with you on the very land in question, pray with you as we stood above the sacred soil. I remember looking up at the blue skies whilst standing between the olive groves hoping that a shred of humanity in the Israeli justice system would prevail over the bias and selfishness that shapes its decision making. It is days like this where the concept of peace among neighbors is hard to fathom. It is days like this where hope of a better future is destroyed.
