I agree with you to a degree, but I have two qualifications. Israelis did not want to have a war in 1948 or to kick anyone out, and in practice many Arabs remained in Israel. It would have been wrong if Israel had done what the PA is doing, in my view. Secondly, the existence or non existence of divine authorization should not affect the fact that Jews have the right to live in these places regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds. The occupation has been necessary to insure that right. Foprtunately, Arab Israelis don't face the expulsion orders.
