I am also appalled by pictures showing dead civilians and children, but you must take into account how Hizballah is preventing at gun point civilians from leaving southern Lebanon. They don't care about the people they were claiming to protect; their terrible deaths are good PR material. This is from an article in Ha'aretz today: http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/742562.html "Consistently, from the Hezbollah heartland, my message was that Hezbollah must stop this cowardly blending ... among women and children," he said. "I heard they were proud because they lost very few fighters and that it was the civilians bearing the brunt of this. I don't think anyone should be proud of having many more children and women dead than armed men". All this could have been prevented if the UN and Lebanon had done what they should have. Nonetheless when the war is over I'm sure there will be a heated debate in Israel.
