The headlines this week reeked of déjà vu, reminiscent of previous confrontations and intifadas, as conditions on the ground in Gaza are becoming more and more similar to those that preceded the 2014 war.19:05 05.02.16 | 4 comments
The afterthoughts of the Palestinians who wound up barricaded in refugee camps by their Arab brethren is not at issue. Nor is the thoroughly documented proclamations by the Arab leaders who launched the war that civilians should leave so they could share in the plunder of a war against the Jews they likened to the Mongolian massacres. What is at issue is the agent of action. The decision to begin a war of annihilation against the Jews, as articulated so very well by Arab leaders of the time, was a poor decision, but it was an Arab one, plain and simple.
