Hello, Ramzi, A very good read; thank you for the article. Your quote also is undeniable in its logic. No occupation - even a well-meaning one - can last long without serious damage to the ethics of the occupier. How can a Jewish state possibly adhere to that most high of Jewish ethics - to "tikun olam", the "healing of the world" - whilst dealing out misery, death and destruction? It ceases to be Jewish, to lose its own way, and then its own soul. Redemption is only possible through peace, and peace only by restoring to the Palestinians their own land, freedom, and dignity. Kind regards.
