Of all the 143 responsed, yours is the most articulate and reasonable. It is true those settlers were encougared by prior Israeli governments to settle in the occupied lands, but bear in mind that the civilized world never recognized those occupied lands as part of Israel. Israel never recognized them as part of ISrael for the simple reason if they annexed them, then the Arabs would form a majority in Israel. And as you well know, Israel stated policy is to remain a jewish majority country.
