Does Observer's #166 rant sound familiar when it's flipped around? To me it sounds like Muslim pronouncements regarding Israel: from Nasser's bellicose statements leading up to the Six Day War to Palestinian terror groups' justifications of suicide bombings to Ahmadinejad's calls to wipe out Israel. Whereas within the pro-Israel camp this attitude toward the Arabs is limited to fringe radicals like Observer, within the Arab world the dehumanization and delegitimization of Israel and Jews is ubiquitous from the top down. The scarcity of people like Observer among those who support Israel relative to the anti-Israel camp is one of the reasons why I think our cause is just.
