I personally don't care for or respect the UN. Having said that, it seems you do. So you may want to rethink your position about the "alleged claims" as you put it that Hezbollah fights from within and near the civilian population. The UN has emphatically stated that Hezbollah was firing rockets from 10 meters of where they were positioned. Even an enemy like the UN clearly states that this is the reality. Why they did not act on this I have no idea. As far as what you call "political blackmail", here you show your unadulterated stupidity. If the highly esteemed UN (this is a tone of major sarcasm)passed a resolution like 1559, why was this not implemented. How is Israel to blame? The UN only proves it is impotent in every way.
