After the Romans expelled the Jews from Jerusalem and renamed it Ayola Capitolia and Israel into Palestine in abt.75 AD after the destuction of their temple, Israel was under Ottoman (Turkish) Islam rule for many centuries. After WW1 Turkey had to hand over Palestine to GB, because they had chosen the side of Germany, the loser. And land under Islam rule cannot go back to what is was before. Now Israel returns to her historic land after 1948(confirmed by UN in 1947), makes her neighbours, all Islam countries, nervous. Because in their option that is against the will of Allah. I think that is also one of the roots of the conflict.
