Needham - It is frusterating for all us that diplomats seem to be unable to say and do what we all can with a few taps on a keyboard. While I am all over this thread stating that the Meshal statement is a big step forward, it also has taken a long time and it is not an outright declaration of peace, love and understanding. Israel will respond appropriately. A quasaam will fly, the IDF will take some action and then all will seem lost. Then somewhere, someone, will say something a little more forward than the Meshal statement today. Then things will slowly move forward again. If it were you and I Needham we could solve it all this afternoon. These guys, Israeli's and the Palestinians, are going to take a long while to sort this out. But, I really think that if they, and those of us who support them, can stay cool under fire, we can make some real progress.
