Nathanson, what you say sounds wonderful on paper, but I personally think occupation, in some circumstances is very bad, but it is not the seed of the troubles here, in the middle east. I wish things were so simple, but I hope you are right. Hallelujah! But what occupation exactly, the west bank and Gaza, Yaffo, Haifa and Nazareth, the Spaninsh in Mexico, the americans in America. The Hamas and their ilk would probably wish to have it all. Remember sir the bombing of Madrid, it was carried out by a Morrocan cell calling themselve sthe Reconquista, meaning the re-conquest, of what? of Spain. Their dogma states that the Iberian peninsula was once Moslem for many years, until the christian and Vatican armies took it back. Now they want it back, and for it to resort back to being Islamic. the dream is a big one, and is very much alive in the fanatical Muslim mind-set. To forget details such as these is just plain playing dumb.
