Dear Marcos Your attempt to justify Mark Lincoln's reasoning is commendable. In times of war and conflict one has to draw a clear line between the offenders and the defenders. No doubt the USA and the West are at odds on how to deal with the rising threat from extremists around the world but I do not accept the contention that such threats are fabricated or triggered by the USA as Mark Lincoln seems to imply. Living in Munich you must be well aware of how Europe is being threatened and transformed by fundamentalists and you should certainly be concerned about the future of our Western civilization if we do not stand up to defend our values. You should review the history of past global conflicts to realize that unfortunately there is no perfect way to act in times of war but I feel more comfortable to be on the side of the US at this time. It is a matter of choice between good and evil.
