Any new "state" would be sandwiched between Israel and "Jordan" as a walnut in a nutcracker, Any US forces would have to either march through "Jordan" from Iraq or overfly unfriendly territory. Also, any such "state" would be, by agreement, demilitarized and therefore, soon fall into the hands of Hamas which has demonstrated its tolerance for the PA by throwing their leaders off of rooftops. Furthermore, the water from the "West Bank" flows under Israeli territory and id not "stolen" but shared per agreements with the PA and "Jordan." Israel supplies, from its own resources, 90 million cubic meters of water with "Jordan." As for US forces rushing to the aid of Hamas or the PA, I wouldn't bet on that either. I sincerely doubt that Americans will risk their kives for terrorists.
