I also like your comment about "manufacturer's instructions". That is it in a nutshell. Normally that should prevent mr from venting my spleen. However, there is a myth that we are 'one people'. Experience has shown that we are two peoples, secular Israeis who live in the 'global village'of the 21st century, and religous Jews who live in a historic continuum of 3320 years of Torah observance. The greatest yearning of secular Israelis , is to be part of this global village. the greatest yearning of religious Jews is to be part of this continuum of Jewish ovservance. In practice relgious Jews of every stripe, not only haredim ar debating whether there is common ground in the secular state of Israel. In practicereligious are formiming their oen clusters of Jewish communal living in the inner cities (haredim) and settlements(religious nationalist). This leaves the secular to form their own clusters. However if the secular really want cremetoria, how about the southern Negev.
