I think you are on the right track but I would turn it around a bit by saying no single denomination should be rejected, but there should be a way of including each. Jews and especially Israel should be a place where there is a sense of inclusion. What we are seeing here is people who in the name of Hshem, are treating others with defferent traditions as "outsiders". It makes them feel superior. It's like Peter Gabriel sang about in "Not One Of Us." There is no such thing as "Authentic Judaism", there are no "Authentic Jews" There is no "single halacha" that all must adhere to. That's the "Wahabi" approach to Judaism. It has no place here in Israel or anywhere else in the World.
