    Jews aren't unique in being, or feeling, rootless. Most Americans are descendants of immigrants who sought a different life, or were forced to. But they don't go running back to Europe to reclaim their great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great granddaddy's land and property, do you? Especially if their only claim is based on long-ago history mixed with myth. Nor do you see Christians conquer entire cities and colonize them based on supposed religious connotations.And if a Muslim tried to do something like that, take over a Jewish or Christian city and colonize it in order to purloin a holy site, I'm sure you'd have about three hernias. Palestinians shouldn't have to die or surrender their hard-worked-for land and property for the sake of Jewish national aspirations. What do you think 1948 was?
