Sometimes I think that some parts of Israel, outside Tel Aviv, are a different planet, let alone a different country! But most Palestinians' lives do not revolve around hate, violence and terrorism, but rather finding jobs, feeding their families and schooling their children. Actually, the same things that ordinary Israelis focus on. Both sides (Israelis and Palestinians) have stereotypical views of the other, but in essence we are all the same. I'm sorry that you don't get to meet with Palestinians more often, Jabadini, but they are just as frightened about their own security as you are. I do not fear them, and I will not believe the rhetoric that every Palestinian is trying to kill me. So thanks, I will stay in Tel Aviv, where I'm surrounded by open-minded people who also want Israel to be a country we can be proud to live in.
