Why not join the Siniora government with the other shiites and defend Lebanon, a sovereign country, in the new Lebanese army. Shiites in Lebanon and Israelis should be friends; they should not be enemies. Why not work for peace and friendship, Hannah. You came here to this website, maybe to tell us of your hatred and pride. Why not leave here with love, yours and ours, and in peace. Please do not leave now. We need you in a dialogue to get to the truth, and your opinions, hurts and grievances; and ours as well, will help us arrive at the truth. I wish more shiites from Lebanon would stay here to talk with us. You have swallowed some propaganda. Let us try to show you our side. Dialogue is better; the Lebanese want you to join the Lebanese army with Sunnis, Christians, and Druze. Why not live in peace and tolerance with the other religions, including Judaism? Peace, Salaam, Shalom.

Palestinian workers stand under a shelter

You love Israel and hate occupation. What do you do?

There's a certain freedom in a time of extremism and obsession and chaos. Freedom to chart a new course. Freedom to love Israel. Freedom to help undo what it's done in your name.

How Isaiah gave Hebrew its word for vagina

If St Jerome and other experts are right, Israelis may have thought that 'pot' meant vulva, but actually they were saying cup. Or forehead. Or maybe something else.
