I do not think that Zeev is a fantasist but that you lack fantasy. To the examples he gave you I want to add one that could serve best: The German minority in South Tyrol was first brutally repressed by the Italian fascists, then nearly driven out according to the Hitler-Mussolini Pakt. After World War II fascism prevailed in South Tyrol: armed resistance started in 1961 blowing up a 10 m monument of Mussolini, the so-called "Alu-Duce". When things looked irresolvable in 1969, the Italian centralist politicians gave in and granted a real autonomy. Since then South Tyrol lives in peace and loyalty to the Italian state being one of the best tax contributing provinces. The message is: more courage can bring peace to the Middle East.
