Many women, killed by partners, had fled to shelters but went home when support ended.09:23 14.02.16 | 0 comments
Bob, I acxtually haven't forgotten the things you are trying to remind me of: 1. Fulfilling "The Right of Return" is a matter of definition. To get an idea of how this is resolved, take a look at the Geneva Accord. (The Palestinian side headed by Abed-Rabbo, an Arafat aide and today an aide to Abbas.) Most Pals get settled where they are or compensated. Perhaps 10,000 come to Israel. 2. The Golan is not essential to Israel's security. I wrote about it in post #45 on the Arens forum. (Don't be surprised this is not Olmert's excuse.) Alexandretta is not comparable to the Golan. The French gave it to Turkey before there was a Syrian state. That's how borders were determined in those days. After 1945 (UN Charter) it became illegal to acquire territory by force. 3. Once Syria is on board (step #1) they no longer inhibit Lebanon. And militant Hizballah is history. The order of steps matters.
