For many non-Jews, support for Israel results from a security claim or other ideological reasonings. Some people even deduce new possibilities of governing from the past, for example by establishing punishments against holocaust denial. But in contrast to propagandize authoritarian methods, even me as a non-Jew liked to read Achad-Haam (Asher Ginsberg) who said that reasons for a loyal membership to judaism should result from judaism itself. Amira Hass for example who is aggressed by many posters to the point that people like Angela Merkel or George Bush seem to be considered more popular, hasn't converted to Islam when she was asked. Is it not that Gideon Levy and Amira Hass are more genuinely Jewish, sticking to Jewish values more than many of those who quickly call them traitors? However, for YOU, Jews, the question might remain: What is the best way to deal with the threats you encounter?
