Oh, where do I start... 1. "strong arab presence in Israel who are well integrated into Israeli society" - Exactly my point. The Israeli Arabs seem to be a whole lot more peaceful than Palestinians, even though they are all the same. Why? Because they have something to loose. Israel never tried to bring the same to Gaza. 2. "Secondly it would be a bit difficult to focus on "imposing laws on territories" - Well, this is always a struggle when you take over land. As our president was told but did not listen :"You brake it - you buy it". Not that Israel started that war, but if you take over, it is yours. Israel has never tried to make Gaza into Israel. 3. 4000 years - man, 4000 means nothing. Yes, scream in desbelief, but it means NOTHING. Why? Because history starts when we are born. I do not care what happened 4000 years ago. Even if, in hypothetical world, our Dads were best friends and you screwed me up, do you think I would care about their history? 4000 years mean 0 to people who were born 20 years ago. And 50% of gaza is under 14. You go talk to them about 4000 years.
