'Jon, you are quite right. And this Haaretz talkback board is now overflowing with people who simply want to bash Israel at every turn, and scream that they`re not anti-semitic even though everything they say just drips with their glee at finding a way to spew out hatred at the Jews (though the cover of hating Israel)...' Taking myself, how then would you explain the fact that I never express any anti-semitic feelings in any other context? I assure you it's not because I'm hiding anything. If anything, I'm infamous for expressing all my feelings -- many of which are quite politically incorrect. The fact of the matter is that you have it backwards. Whatever extent to which I have become anti-semitic is due entirely to the fact that I do associate Jews with Israel's actions. Given Israel's loudly proclaimed status as THE Jewish state, that's certainly understandable, if not entirely justified.
